Brand new for the 2022 hockey season are the Bauer Vapor Hyperlite Intermediate Hockey Shoulder Pads from Bauer Hockey. Bauer has designed their newest pads to offer elite level protection while giving you the lightest protective package on the market.
Starting off with the front of the Vapor Hyperlite Shoulder Pads, the Ventaprene vest is made to flex with your body, and it allows you the ultimate freedom of mobility while staying lightweight, giving you the ability to be as fast as possible on the ice. Bauer has also included a floating sternum protector that has been reinforced with SHOCKLite foam. This increases the protection from slashing without adding any additional weight in this crucial area.
The Venataprene vest continues around the back of the Vapor Hyperlite Shoulder Pads to help further your mobility in the pads. Integrated into the vest is a rib wrap to protect you all around while staying breathable. One of the most crucial areas to protect is the spine, and Bauer has included a floating spine protector with SHOCKLite foam inserts to reinforce and protect this area.
On the shoulders you will find Aerolite 2.0 Shoulder Caps that will help absorb impacts from collisions like bumping into the boards or into other players. Around on the bicep is a one-piece EXO-Lite skin protector with built in sleeve-fit. Upgrading their liner, Bauer is using the new THERMOCORE ZERO liner. This liner is treated to manage sweat and odors while providing a fresh feel all game long. Additionally, it will help to keep you cool as you skate.
